Chances/ Stretch schools?

Not going to make myself look better than I really am but I would like to explore my options
Money is a big factor in what school I plan on going to (which makes TOPS tempting)

Accepted: Tulane, LSU, A&M, Baylor, LA Tech

What schools can I apply to next? Doubt that I’m ivy material (but would Cornell/Dartmouth/Brown be a stretch?)
Rice? Penn? ND? UCB/UCLA?

I have no ideas for schools to apply to but I am interested in any schools in the states bordering Louisiana as well as in California or the Northeast, thanks!

Louisiana High School Senior (mid-year graduate)

GPA: 4.4
3.92 UW
ACT-34-36/31/35/35 (33 writing on most recent test)

Rank:1% (4/453) (does that even matter or do schools only care about top 10%)

APs: 3-4 on Lang, APUSH, USGOV, CAL AB,

Dual Enrollment:(A) World Hist,(A) Precalculus,(B) Advanced Math/Trig

Only 2 B’s in HS, Cal AB and Trig (terrible teacher but irrelevant)

All classes Honors/AP (would take more but the remaining APs are in the spring and I will have already graduated

EC: decent honestly, just enough participation, nothing that makes me stand out in these
No sports (health prob but nothing serious/noteworthy)

Volunteering/Recycling <–very dear to me

Thanks again, just interested in exploring my options at this point

Sorry to inform you but the deadline for UCB/UCLA has passed Nov 30.

I think the UC application closed on November 30th, so they are not an option for you if you haven’t already applied. Did Tulane offer you a generous merit package? I think that Rice and ND are good, plausible reach schools for you. Vanderbilt and Washington U might be longer shots. Emory is possible, also.

Thanks for the UC ones, as you can tell I haven’t really looked into them, just curious! As for Tulane, I was accepted today so I expect that the merit package will come with the letter but I’ll let you know! And thanks, I may apply to rice after all (my ACT scores always go there for some reason) but I haven’t heard of some of the schools you suggested, I’ll look into them, thanks!
