I’m planning on applying Vandy ED1, EA for Tulane, Purdue, UTK, and regular decision for NYU, Emory, WashU. What are my chances, and how can I make my application stronger?

Your stats are great For all of those schools, so your chances will be determined by other factors. Your ECs look excellent as well, provided you can give a good, detailed account of the two organizations that you founded as well as your involvement at the state and national level with the tiger two organizations. I’m knowledgeable only about Tulane so I will leave it to others to comment on the other universities you mention. For Tulane, you really want to connect the dots for the admissions committee as to how the particular academic offerings will help you reach your career goals. I would look over the faculty in the area that you’re interested in and see with whom you might be able to conduct research, the subject matter of that research, and work that into your application. You’ll definitely want to talk about community service and the needs that you perceive New Orleans to have and the role that you might play in addressing those needs. Any interest in international affairs or other cultures is very helpful. Finally, the more you can emphasize an interdisciplinary approach to your undergraduate studies, the more it will fit in with the advantages Tulane provides academically to its undergraduates. Congratulations on your excellent record and good luck!

@NJDad68 Thank you for all the advice about Tulane!
