<p>I am in my senior year in high school, and thinking about applying to UW Madison. I am an out of state resident. (illinois)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.872 Unweighted (We have no weighted grades)
Class Rank: 10/165</p>

<p>AP Classes: AP Bio, APUSH, taking AP Chem, AP English
ACT: 27 </p>

<p>Senior Year Courseload:
Calculus, Stats, AP Eng, AP Chem, Info and software 1 and 2, web page design and developement, Spanish 4, Anatomy, Government, Sociology?</p>

<p>retake your ACT, or take the SAT and summitt whichever is higher. I would spend a lot of time ensuring good test scores. Good essays can probably get you in but I would say 50/50.</p>

<p>I suspect that this year, minimum requirement for ACT should be 28.</p>

<p>A better test score may improve your chances, as above.</p>
