lemme know what you guys think....THANKS!!!

WOW! If Wash U doesn't take you they are nuts! I think your resume is amazing....and Wash U loves musician/scientist types...Good Luck!

thank you soo much...ne more?

bumpppp please!! thanks!!

seriously...lemme know what you guys think..PLEASE!!

Maybe everyone is speechless after perusing your resume?

Your SATs are low. Your resume has a lot of bloat, obviously trying to show you're a well rounded applicant but it just shows that you did a lot for college.

Cut the fat, focus on a couple of things.

what should i cut?

If you cut this resume in half you would still get in...Focus on music, poetry or foreign languages. If you are planning pre med throw in some science stuff. Remember Wash U only gives 15 credits max for AP courses that earn 4 & 5 scores. State colleges are more generous with AP credits.

Nice resume but needs sports or a job

SPORTS or JOB??? sigh....i cant get a job cuz i'm not a US citizen..and i cant do sports ne more cuz the deadlines to sign up have already passed..

if Apollo takes on more interests (sports & work), that would be a mistake. The resume needs to be edited. I think his focus should be his passions, especially music, poetry, and foreign language skills. My son got accepted at Wash U with only 2 highly developed gifts/skills—math and music (viola & piano). He did not have time to do sports, except for fun. He worked as a math & reading tutor, and a viola instructor. His job related to his skills.

:) points out that I am also very gifted in math and music (planning on playing in WashU symphony

U can get a job if you're not a US citizen. Work VISA? Well you don't have to do school sports, go join a local swim club or something. :) sports really do help after a long exhausting day.

What instrument do you play PoloniusMouth?

That would be the violin. :) I'm okay at it I guess. :) Honestly I haven't really practiced in about 4-5 months (ever since finals)

This applys if you are NOT majoring or minoring in music:
Some interesting info about instruments: If you take private lessons, which is extra money on top of tuition, you will get 3 credits for an hour lesson, and 1.5 credits for 1/2 hour lesson. If you take small ensemble/quartet, which is extra money too, you will get 1 credit. If you join the symphony you will get 1 credt. You have to show up for every lesson, quartet, orchestra rehearsal inorder to get an A. My son also gets some quartet gigs at $50 dollars an hour—not bad. You can really rack up the credits by doing music. My son, who was a freshman, now has 40 credits—normal is about 30.

Is this a joke? Are you looking for compliments? I think you are a shoe-in as far as your chances go.

thanks..i dunno bc of my SAT scores..

lol... :) SAT scores don't really matter. Believe me, i was on teh opposite end of the spectrum and i didn't get what I was looking for. :) I am not going to major or minor in music probably because I'll be too busy with my major.

so...where did you end up going?
