I was totally shock when I see a 480 on my writing (I got an 8 on my essay by the way).

It's just really weird, because I always score at least 600 above on my practice tests and the writing in October just doesn't seem that hard for me.

I know it is not likely that college board will be wrong...but.....

i think i might order QA... the collegeboard wont help u if u screwed up the bubbling, they'll just tell u to retake blah blah u can improve. My writing was about 100 points lower than expected too, and i did really well on barrons and the blue books practice questions. According to this though, i got like 12 wrong?

And I'm applying ED, scrued!!!
I am going to retake it in November, but I don't know hows that gonna look...since I have that bad a record already.....

just take the ACT. there is always that option. But ya, i think im definitely going to review my test. But just how often do they screw up? I mean if theres like 0 % chance that it was their fault, then i dont want to waste my time.

yeah kevinscool, i thought i would get into 2000+ but i was utterly disappointed. My scores were low..... maybe they messed up they had before! (hoping for the best :(.. and some scores arent online yet so they mite be having some technical difficulties........ or i am just too optimistic

well, im not trying to be dilusional or too optimistic. But i HONESTLY like in my mind, do not see how i did so bad on writing. I duno we'll see, im ordering QAS. Hopefully somthings up. GL Jinks man, you may want to order too, if you were very confident.

I am also applying early decision and also expected a higher score. Should I get the Q&A service or just pay 50$ for the reevaluation? I am taking the subject tests in November and their results should also be out 3 weeks later so I think if there's something wrong, it might actually help for the early decision.

I don't understand how they score the essay. The last time I got a 12 and this time I got an 8? I thought that this essay was very logical and detailed. I am taking AP Psych right now so I thought that I had some really good statistics and specific references. Can I appeal this essay score?
By the way, the CR and Math scores were great - I don't want to mess them up.
