Chances the YALE? And Others ( Brown,UCLA etc )

<p>Hello,
I am Morrocan, ( it is a country in north africa, so I guess it does count as 'exotic'? ) and I go to a french school.
My first choice and dream university is Yale - Major in Environemental studies, but realisticlly, I also will apply for Stanford, Brown, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Amhrest, Darthmouth because the necessary condition would be to have a nice financial aid : due to my parents income, I can only afford paying atound 8000 dollars ... ( wich unfortunatly forces me to send to the most generous thereby selective schools )
Academics : I have always gotten an average of over 15+/20 ( wich is around 4,0 unweighted gpa ) but some semesters, I got 13 or 12 in some particular subjects.
However, I do a lot of subjects : for instance, this year, besides being in the "Scientifical branch" ( 6Hrs maths 7,5Hrs physics and 3,5hrs Biology) I also attend
Advenced arabic Literature 6hrs, (optional)
Bilingual French and Arabic History and Geography 4hrs, (optional)
Latin 3hrs (optional)
Spanish 3hrs (optional)
English 2hrs</p>

<p>So I guess the number of my subjects and study hours ( around 42 only in high school ) balances the few weaknesses of my marks</p>

<p>My marks at previous exams where : an average of 16,5/20 for French and 16/20 for the 'project' subject, are both equivalent to A+ I guess.</p>

<p>I didn't pass the SAT yet but I aim around 2050-2300 and around 700 for Maths II and Biology E, and 800 for French</p>

<p>Concernincs ECs, I also have a very multidisciplinary background :
Sports : Karate(green belt) Climbing (5 years) Gymnastics (won regionals) and many others
Clubs : This year, I attend to the Ecological club, the 'young philosophers' club, the 'Radio' club wich I guess I could say I am the leader of, and last year I did Creative writing and I also attended to a eco-club during all middle school
Add to that numerous charity and natinal competitions participations</p>

<p>The point is what are my chances to attend Yale ? And the other universities?
What other university could I add to my list since my priority is getting that financial aid ?
What SAT scores should I aim at ? and what Subject Test should I pass ( Is french to obvious ? shoud I rather pass physics or so ?)
What EC should I eventually start doing ? </p>

<p>I also want to say that I intend to apply for environmental related majors, wich are usually kind of uncommon according to the statistics I looked up, so this should help I guess.</p>

<p>All of the schools you’re applying to are extremely selective, and are reaches.</p>

<p>I want to say apply to Williams College as well because of their generous financial aid packages for international students, but i’m not sure about their strength in environmental studies.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t say UCLA is extremely selective. It is to a degree but nowhere near as selective as Brown or Yale.</p>
