Chances to get in?

<p>Hi everyone! I am applying to Miami this year as a senior and was wondering what you all thought about my chances! I plan to major in Broadcast Journalism!</p>

Essays: I'd say it's pretty good...it's been edited mulitple times and is a good representation of myself
Teacher Recs: Should be pretty good
Counselor Rec: Know and love my counselor! He's been there for me all year and knows exactly what I've been going through - at our last meeting he said he would write me "a hell of a letter of recommendation"</p>

<p>So, what do all you guys think? My parents can pay full tuition and won't receive any money from FAFSA.</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance of getting accepted, but I don’t know about financial aid. You could easily find that on their website though.</p>

<p>I’d say you’d be accepted, mostly based on your ACT score and your GPA. Having a [relatively] low rank in class and only 4 AP’s over four years will probably keep you from being awarded any merit based scholarships.</p>

<p>Just an update, I got ACT scores back and my composite went up to a 32!!</p>
