I'm planning to apply to the following csus:

-Long Beach
-San Diego
-Pomona
-Fullerton
-San Francisco

My weighted GPA is 3.2564 and my SAT score is 1860 (I've only taken it once and I'm planning to take it one more time but I've never been a good test taker)

I slacked off my sophomore year and got a 2.57 and 3.00 GPA but my junior year I got a 4.00 and 4.20 GPA. Is there any chance that the colleges will acknowledge this improvement? Do I have a good chance of getting accepted or am I aiming too high?

Actually, 3.26 is my total GPA but my GPA (10-12) so far is 3.43

What were your math and critical reading scores on the SAT? CSUs do not look at the writing score and only consider the total Math + CR when looking at your SATs. Also where do you live? If you are in the service area of one of these CSUs you have a better chance of acceptance. San Diego, Long Beach. Pomona, and I believe Fullerton, are all considered impacted CSUs and applicants from outside their service areas will need very high GPAs and CR+M SAT scores to get admitted.

my math was 570 and my reading was 630. I live in the Los Angeles area. I’m really hoping to get into Long Beach or San Francisco : T
