Chances to get into Top Tier Schools?

Hi, I'm a high school junior and I'm starting to think about colleges. I'll list all my stats I guess, but I won't go overboard with them:

5 Honors Courses: Honors English 9, Honors English 10, Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics
8 AP Courses: US History, Biology, European History, Micro, Macro, English Language, Calculus BC, Chemistry
-expecting to have all 5s except for one 4 after this year

Basically every period filled up, no study halls.
I've gotten 5 Bs for year grades after this year (I'm hoping not to get anymore). Most of them were in AP classes. My weight GPA after this year will be around 4.3. Unweighted it will be around 3.7-3.8. I should end up in top 10% of my class, hopefully, although I get bumped down really low from kids taking really easy classes since our courses aren't weighted that much, my school stopped reporting class rank though because of this very problem. It is a highly competitve public school, rated top in our state. I know my GPA doesn't really reflect how good I am at the subjects, but that is because I've had to miss many days of school at the end of the year to attend FPS International Conference and because of my own forgetfulness.

SAT score 2090, 670 reading 700 writing 720 math, but I got 740 on old sat math, but I just took it again today and I am expecting 2180+

Next year my classes are: AP Spanish, AP Physics, AP English Literature, AP Government, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science

I've been president of FPS (Future Problem Solving - an international competitive club) for 2 years and qualified for the International Conference (pretty hard to do) for 3 years.

1 Year member of Science Olympiad, going to nationals in 2 weeks... hopefully our team finishes top 3, maybe first, there

And then I'm just a normal member of some other clubs... leadership council, SADD

I'm basically going to spend this entire summer volunteering and I'm going to attend a leadership forum at Brown hopefully.

So, given that I get my SAT score up to around 2200, which I think I did, and that I write very good admission essays (writing is one of my strengths) and have really good letters of recomendation, what are my chances to get in to an ivy league school or another top school? More specifically... Duke, Northwestern, Chicago, WashU, Johns Hopkins??

from what u've given it seems like u have a really good shot.
it's really all in how u sell urself........my advice: in every inch of ur app, write about urself and ur accomplishments as if they were the most incredible things on the planet (but be sure not to sound too conceited) ;)

Do I have enough EC and a high enough gpa and sat score though to really have a chance at an Ivy league school?

I got into an ivy (Cornell), Duke, Northwestern, Chicago, and Hopkins with about similar stats as you. Good LUCK!!

i don't see how people say that they have some sat score but can guarauntee it too be more than 100 points better. I know plenty of people who didn't study at all the first time and then after studying their butts off did the same, like 20 points better or worse. The only person i've ever known to improve by more than 100 had a 930 to start out with.

Wait a sec. With 4 B's Your unweighted is still a 3.8?! WOW nice freshman stats then :)

pjv80287, the reason I think i did 100 points better was because I wrote the post right after I took the SAT test. I think I did a lot better than last time, especially after I read my test forum and the answers. I wouldn't go into a test saying I was going to improve my score, but I would say it was going to improve after I took it and had a feel for how I did.

Seems like a good chance at Duke but might want to look at some easier schools like Tufts or Holy Cross both very good.
