Considering your ethnicity, GPA, and council positions, you should be able to get into at least one or two UC’s. Still though, your chances would be higher if you increased your SAT score and community service hours. If you’re a junior, it would be helpful for you to volunteer over the summer, and study over the summer to retake the SAT in the fall before college apps. Also remember that UC’s may require 2 SAT Subject Tests.

ucsb, uci, and cal polies are a high match( i know someone who does asb, and higher gpa and Sat who got rejected) everything else is a reach. 40 hours is way too low so get that up. student council isn’t that great of an EC cuz at the end of the day, its just an elective class you take at school. Don’t count on your ethnicity to get you through, it won’t make that much of a difference.

Not for sure. SAT score is kinda low. Cal Poly SLO is high reach, so is UCSD and berkely and LA. UCSB and UCI might be reaches as well. Get more involved in community and raise that score
