Please, can somebody tell me my chances?
I have an associate degree in chemistry with a 3.73 GPA. I’m studying microbiology now and have a 3.59 GPA. I’m planning to get straight A’s this semester. Maybe I’ll get a B, because I’m taking calculus, but I’ll do my best. I can get it up to 3.60-3.67, depending on that B. I dropped a semester for economical reasons and came back, and also have 2 w’s from last semester. I’m a member of the microbiology chapter of my university, medlife, an organization to inform people about bone marrow donation, have participated in Zika awareness activities, volunteered a few months in a nursing home and I’ll be a volunteer for the Red Cross starting this week, to help victims of hurricane Maria. I don’t have anything impresive, but I got a paid internship and a scholarship from Abbott laboratories. I’m Puerto Rican and I am not on New Jersey or the main land right now, but my mom is. Still, I don’t think I’ll get in-state tuition, because it has’nt been 12 months since she moved. Also, can you guys recomend me some “affordable” good schools in NJ that would consider a student like me. Thank you!
