-Will be doing Work Study at my school this fall.

I have completed all prerequisites for Stern, and am completing classes that would transfer as MAP requirements this fall quarter. I have also completed the equivalent of 2/2.5 years of Chinese (accelerated+intensive program).

I have some pretty good reasons for transfer.
I will be recieving letters of recommendation from professors and extra-curriculars.

again, I will be transferring as a Finance Major. Stern is my first choice.

What are my chances? Thanks to all those who reply :)

I think your chances would've been better if you'd accepted NYU's offer of admission and then tried an internal transfer. Since there's no point in crying over spilt milk, you should give it a shot. I don't think anyone can give you a concrete answer, since it's pretty competitive, but if you don't try, you definitely won't make it. :)

yea that's probably true. I went to Davis thinking I was going to do Law in the future, but then I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do, and then I switched to Economics.

any more suggestions anyone?
