Essay pretty good :)

taken nothing but honors classes, AP and Pre-AP classes since freshman year.

i applied to the university of Arizona, Arizona state university, Baylor university, Texas tech, and university of Texas at Austin. out of all i am most interested in go to u of a. what do u think my chances are in getting into these schools?

Im a freshman at UA. I had the following stats, but i went to a college prep school so the gpa isnt accurate. I had a 3.18 and a 1230 on the SATs. My friend who goes to UA also from the same HS had a 3.0 and a 1050. Another kid from my HS who got accepted had a 2.9 and an 1120

Id say for UA and ASU, you are definitely in

my best friend goes to baylor and he didnt have great grades but he dominated the SAT.

I'd say baylor is a target for you

Tech is easy as hell to get into. Honestly, I've yet to meet someone who got rejected. My friend from HS had a 2.2 GPA and a 960 on the SAT and got in.

Tech-safety

UT on the other hand is quite difficult if youre instate and not in the top 10%, which you are not. Also, the average SAT last year was 1230/1600

Tech is going to be one of my son's safeties. I was looking at the websites regarding AP credit and they are INCREDIBLY GENEROUS with credit. They give credit for lots of 3s In foreign languges, you can even get 10 hours of credit with a 2!!!. The real stunner is that they give English credit if you get a high enough SAT CR scores-3 hours for a 610 and 6 hours for a 700. So, if for any reason you want or need to go somewhere you can graduate early, try Tech.

thanks, i never knew that texas tech was that generous toward good sat grades :) , hopefully they're the same on act grades cuz i am taking the act again. yea i hope i could getting into theses school specially u of a, Texas tech and baylor? if there are any agreements, disagreements or clarifications please let me know :). thanks.
