Im just getting started and have finished my 1st semester at a cc. My intended major right now is Biology. My GPA as of right now is 3.43 (not so hot for a school like SD with a great bio program). I’m in intersession right now hoping I get an A in that class ill be around a 3.48 GPA. My classes will be getting harder with physics, ochem,calc 2&3 and I still need to start my Bio classes (finishing my chem courses as of now ).
As for extra curricular activities I’m apart of Student Government, I volunteer 80+ hours teaching dance, Im trying to get into the UCSD medical summer internship, and had a part time job for a while but decided to quit.
I am apart of the accelerated health program at my school
Just wondering for Bio majors what were the average accepted GPAs.
Ive seen online that average accepted overall GPAs are around 3.64. So that give me a little hope.
Any recommendations on increasing that GPA other than praying for straight A’s next semester? lol
