*GPA is based on assumed winter intersession grades. Current GPA 3.7
*Didn't take any classes in Summer and Fall. Completing many major reqs during winter. 1 W in Fall
*Going to explain the B in English and C in Micro in essay. Also related to why I didn't take classes in Fall.

I had a solid 4.0 going into the final three weeks of last Spring but due to personal circumstances, my GPA took a hit as a result. I am worried that the adcom would not listen to my explanation so I am wondering based on my stats alone, how does my chance look for the above schools?

Thank you

You have a pretty good shot at Marshall (USC), the others are going to be definite "reach" schools. The C in micro does't look good, especially since your major is business - have a good explanation - which I'm sure you do.

Have you thought about Biz-econ at UCLA, since you're in the honors program?

Man why not add Cal and UCLA your stats are great

Thanks, I certainly am going to apply to Cal and UCLA. :D

Oh btw, I thought Cornell ILR is pretty easy.....does anyone know the average GPA of someone who has been accepted to the program as a transfer?
