-Reside in NJ
-Permanent Resident
-Came to the States as a Freshman (lived in the states for 2 yrs when I was young so I have no accent and can speak fluently)
-Attend Catholic School
-Will be graduating with the most AP classes taken in my class (7 in total)

Senior Courseload
AP Chem, AP Gov, AP English, AP Calc BC, Honors Spanish IV, Multimedia/Gym, Religion

TOEFL (iBT) <-- don't know if it matters at all cuz I got a 700 on my CR but anyways... I got a 116/120.

What's killing me are the AP scores
Calc BC: 2 (subscore 3)
US: 3
Stats: 3
APs I have taken, with the exception of US History, are courses for Seniors only. Seniors don't do anything second semester and the teachers just let them pass and get decent grades by pretty much not doing anything in my school... I hope the AP scores don't affect my chances...

My hook(?)
- Patent
- The fact that I started out taking ESL English as a freshman and ended up taking AP English as a senior (i kinda think thats an accomplishment)

Schools
UPenn (ED)- Wharton
UofChicago (EA)- Economics
Boston College (EA)- Carroll
Gtown- McDonough
Cornell- AEM
UMich-Ross
NYU-Stern
Lehigh- my sister graduated from Lehigh

I have a longer list (consists of Duke, Harvard, MIT, Brown, Dartmouth and all those top-notch schools; the final list will depend on my early results)

I want to major in Finance or Economics depending on the school
Thanks in advance.

there's no doubt you worked your butt off in high school. however, i am afraid that upenn, your early decision school, maybe an extreme reach, though I think for other schools your chances are fine.

i wouldnt say whatons an extreme reach
you're def one of those unique applicants that schools are looking for
if the adcoms are attracted to you you're in, if not, you'll prob be deferred/waitlisted
Your GPA/test scores/ECs are all within the range
Not one of those factors will work against you to an extent where you will be rejected just because of it

Your SATs are somewhat on the low-end of the range for wharton, but I think with your ECs you definitely have a very good shot there (and everywhere else)...good luck!

i think wharton is a reach for you as it is.. you need to raise your SAT2 scores, if possible all above 750, since your AP scores aren't that great.

Like eveybody here has already indicated, your rank and AP scores are a little light for Wharton, but your ECs really shine--especially those business ECs, which are a big deal at Wharton. I'd play those up as much as possible in your essay and get recommendations from people related to them if possible.

You should be fine at the other schools on the original list (I'm not including Harvard, Duke, MIT, Brown or Dartmouth here), but Wharton will be tough. Applying ED is the way to go to have a chance, but in my opinion you still have a slightly less than 50% possibility of acceptance. If you knew you were in the top 4 kids at your school, not just top ten, I would rate your chances higher.

when it comes to rank, i think i may be one of the top 4 kids at my school (even possibly top 3)... but then again, there's no way i will know my exact rank and same goes to all the colleges... they might find out that im one of the top 10 kids cuz i receive scholarship but they'll not know my exact rank

What did you patent?

business method that pertains to e-commerce
dont wanna get into the details (its not only impossible to write an abstract but also dont want to display all the details)

can i get some predictions on other schools too??

Noone sees your AP scores until you send them in for credit. Those dont matter, you only send them into the school you were accepted into.

This might not be PC, but I have to say, the number of qualified Asian applicants to the top undergrad B schools is just threw the roof if my high school and CC are telling. And there are so few spots. I am bowled over by the number applying to Huntsman with native Asian languages.

Since the schools clearly keep the number of Asians the same year over year, there is just no way to even guess here.

yeah. AA hurts asians like crazy, and helps whites and the other races like crazy by keeping the asians out. If you were white, you would be have an excellent chance, but pity you are asian like me.
