Chances, UC Berkeley?

Hi,

I am currently a Junior, but I was wondering what my chances are for UC Berkeley (electrical engineering/computer science or Physics). The grade counts I give will be by SEMESTER, NOT BY YEAR.

Semester 1 (Freshman Year): 7 A's, 4.0 weighted/unweighted
Semester 2 (Freshman Year): 7 A's, 4.0 weighted/unweighted

Semester 1 (Sophomore Year): 7 A's, 4.0 unweighted, 4.29 weighted
Semester 2 (Sophomore Year): 6 A's, 1 B (in Chem Honors), 3.86 unweighted, 4.14 weighted
Overall: 3.93 unweighted, 4.21 weighted

Semester 1 (Junior Year): 6 A's, 4.0 unweighted, 4.5 weighted
Semester 2 (Junior Year): 6 A's, 1 B (AP Calc BC), 3.83 unweighted, 4.33 weighted
Overall: 3.92 unweighted, 4.42 weighted

Sophomore+Junior Year: 3.92 unweighted, 4.31 weighted

SAT Math 2: 800
Sat Reasoning: 2370
SAT Physics+Lit: To Come

This list isn't including extracurricular activities of course, which range from music to sports to club leaderships. My worry is that the two classes I got B's in, Chem Honors and AP Calc BC, are the ones that are going to hold me back from Admission at Berkeley. Any thoughts, are my chances low, middle, or high?

I think you are fine… Great scores and GPA. If your OOS then that is a boost too. Just dont screw up your essay. :D

OOS is a boost only if you don’t ask for financial aid.

Berkeley: Match (low match if OOS full-pay)

If you can pay,
UCB: Safety or almost safety

UCB: Low match

Safety or low match, easily.

you’re 99% in.
