u can only apply to 4 UC's w/ one app no?

I think you have a chance at UCB and UCLA, but UCSD seems like more of a fit because your low GPA, which is important for UC. Northwestern is a bit of a reach.

WOW 4201, You can apply to as many UC's as you want. It's a limit of 4 with fee waiver.

I think you've got a solid chance at any UC, but if you get rejected anywhere...it would obviously be UCB because of your GPA. 3.6 weighted? Do you know what your CAL GPA is? That matters alot. Your SAT/ACT scores should help you alot though. Help you enough to get into every UC except for Berkeley I think.

i really appreciate the opinions, i REALLY do... but i already pretty much know and understand my UC chances... i'm much more interesting in my chances at the privates. so please focus on those, thank you.

I think you'll be in at American, NYU, and USC. Northwestern is somewhat of a reach because of your GPA, and I'm not too familiar with LM.

koushirou:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCSB: Safe Match
UCSC: Safety

Honestly, I think that you have little chance of acceptance at Northwestern. NYU could also be considered a reach, in light of your weighted GPA and numerous B's. I'm not really impressed by your extra-curricular activities. Advice: If you want to stand out, design a terrific community service project.
