UCSC

Thanks!

UChic's still a slight reach for you i think, although i dont really know how much impact legacy has there, so it may be a match.

cornell, emory, brandeis, hopkins are also slight reaches.

i'd say you're in for all the UCs.

chance me back please?

Thanks a lot belle123!

I'd call Brandeis a match, or even low match.
If your essays are all that good, and UChicago is a clear fit for you, I predict that you'll be in.

Thank you, anyone else?

Bump 10 char

Your UC GPAs are low for the top 2 UCs but your ECs may tip in your favor.
You should be in UCSD and UCSB. U of Chicago is not stats conscious, it's all about essay so you have a chance there.

Yeah, I'm also hoping that the first semester of senior year grades will help me for the UC's. I had a bad junior year. Does anyone know how important mid-year reports can be?

Bump Bump Bump

I don't think your GPA will hinder your application to UChicago. They've been known to accept people with a wide range of GPAs and SATs. I'm pretty positive you'll get in.

Thank you thank you, I'll hope.
