ughh...so few awards. I'm planning on writing a VERY Good essay for Irvine or SB , im a little uncertain about making those UC's. 1st time SAT is 1900, but currently studying and planning on the 2000-2100 range. does SB / irvine look at SAT 2 subject scores? a friend of mines had less extracurriculars , around the same GPA, made irvine,` and said he made it because of his essay. my GPA is hella low due to my junior year, but our class isn't too competitive, they have high GPA's but pretty low SAT's scores (8 of the top 10 ranked in my school are below 1900) but as far as extracurriculars, our school doesnt have too many. i dont know why but an unusually large amount of people from my school got accepted into UCSD last year (20ish), even tho our school is pretty low ranked on the WASC level.
