Top 10% of class.
Will graduate with 10 or 11 AP courses.

Act: Not taken
Sat:Not taken

Ec's: Pretty good. Nothing too special though. A few leadership positions.
Volunteering: Lots of hours. Very focused on environmental things (Idk if colleges like to see "focused" volunteer work.

So yeah, I know it's hard to chance me without the test scores but hypothetically speaking say if I get low 30's on ACT what are my chances?

In regards to UNC: You’re in the same exact position I am. I’m also in-state as well. Your GPA is a bit higher than mine for the time being (4.3 right now, going to be around 4.5 after Junior Year). I would say you have a good shot since you’re in-state and if you have a certain talent/hobby (Guitar/Piano/etc.) than state that and you should be good. A bit of advice for your tests: the ACT is super easy, but I have no idea about the SAT (haven’t taken it, took ACT today). Also, first-generation college student might help out as well. Are you a Junior or Senior?

I’m a junior. Not a first generation college student both parents went to college (Not UNC though)

I took the ACT for the first time today and it was hard for me. If given enough time I could get high 30’s but with the time limit I got rushed. That’ll get better with practice.

BTW that 4.6 gpa is what I expect to have after this year. Just to clarify.

My mom used to teach at UNC maybe that will help my chance but I doubt it.
