Thank you!
I can chance back if needed :)

You have the objective part down (although an estimate of your rank would help), but there are no real standout ECs or leadership positions. Your essays and recs will make a difference, but I’d say Wharton and Columbia are high reaches simply because the candidates have similar stats but stronger ECs.

I can’t accurately chance Northwestern or Georgetown cause they love my school and take tons of kids, but UChicago looks to be your most realistic option. I’d say high match.

You still have a year left. Since you have the objective stuff down, focus on the ECs (think unique).

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1256342-chance-me-wharton-harvard-columbia-etc.html

For RD:

Georgetown - High Match/Low Reach
Northwestern - Low Reach
Wharton - Reach
Columbia - Reach
Chicago - Reach

If you apply EA/ED:

Georgetown (EA) - High Match/Low Reach
Northwestern (ED) - In
Wharton (ED) - Low Reach
Columbia (ED) - Low Reach
Chicago (EA) - Low Reach

Thanks. I’ll try to work on my ECs, but it’s kind of hard because there aren’t many things to do at my school or in my neighborhood. Most, if not all, opportunities are only given to 18+ college students. My school also does not have many clubs, and heavily restricts the founding of new clubs. Oh, and I didn’t mention, but I have been playing the clarinet as a hobby for the past 7 years. Any suggestions on how I can improve my ECs?

Thanks for chancing, guys.

Can anyone chance me for these schools (especially UChicago, Northwestern, and Georgetown) and Cornell?

Thanks a billion.

There is nothing you can do right now to improve your ECs. What you can do is present your ECs in a more interesting way so that they don’t seem boring and inadequate at all.

I would suggest you talk in depth about what you have in your voice. Shoe your passion and let your own voice take over.

Your stats are all good and full paying ability will certainly give you a boost.
Write some amazing essays. Specially for UChicago.

Bump…
