Chances - will chance back, thanks!

What are my chances?

-Junior in High School
-2300 SAT
- 87.912645% GPA
- Will need financial aid, at least partial
- I have a reason for my low GPA and a passion.

Let us assume I get a 800 on the Math II subject test; that's what I got on the practice ones. I got a 96% in Bio, so the test for Subject Biology should be fine too.

AP Classes (currently taking/took):

AP Computer Science A [4 on Exam]
AP Statistics [haven't taken exam yet]
AP Calculus AB [haven't taken exam yet]

Upcoming AP classes:

AP Bio (summer 2011)
AP Calc BC (senior year)
AP Chem (senior year)
AP Gov't (senior year)

All honors classes otherwise.

The reason my GPA was low in 9th grade because my dad died in 8th grade (middle/end) and I had trouble adjusting. My dad had a PhD in Biostatistics, and helped me a lot in math. I was a complete high A student in middle school with top classes. After my dad died, it went downhill, but it is going up fast.

Let us assume the ~88% GPA is my GPA at the end of Junior year (June 2011), cumulative, unweighted.

EC:

Own, manage, and run (zero parental help) a registered C-Corporation for around 2 years, soley pay taxes (I don't hire an accountant), have a good knowledge of technology and basic economics. This taught me so much about the business world and economics and how to deal with clients using an array of technologies. I used merchant accounts, stock management tools, opened bank accounts, and basically devoted my entire time to this company.

200+ hours community service (so far), mainly at a local Hospital with patient transportation and medicine transportation

Tennis team, private lessons for ~1 year (1 year)

Drums (2 years)
-EMT Course

Race: South Asian (Indian), but natural born US Citizen. My mom is a permanent resident alien for 15 years.

I am planning to take some SATII subject level tests - Math (I and II), History, English (probably), and History. These will be during ~May. I should do fine on these. See above. I am strong in Math; taking the highest level course available to my grade with an 90% unweighted so far and going up.

Planned major: Pre-Med, Engineering, Business/Business Administration - to MBA, or biostatistics --- not sure yet. I am leaning towards a clinical research MD or Biostatistics.

What are my chances?

(elite schools)
-JHU ED and non ED
-UPenn
-Columbia
-Cornell
-MIT
-Carnegie Mellon
-Northwestern

-Drexel
-Drexel full ride?
-University of Delaware
-NYU
-Northwestern
-Rensselaer Polytechnic U

Thank you. Will chance back!

I meant to put Northwestern in the elite schools only. Sorry - posted this via mobile.

Normally, with your GPA, I’d say it’s iffy. However, if you convey your situation, I’d say you have a great shot at every school listed here! Your only problem is that your ECs are on the weak side, but you should be okay, as you run your own corporation. You should definitely get into at least two of your elite schools.

Your thoughts would totally be appreciated. =)
