Hey guys !
I have a 2190( 750 M, 700 R, 740 W) and a 3.8 gpa for 9,10 and 11th grades but I did poorly this year for the first and second quarter.

These are my mid year grades:
Science Research- A+ /B
AP stat- B /B+
AP Physics- B /B-
AP Lit- A- /B+
Media Arts- A+ /A-
AP Calculus BC- A /A-

What do u think my chances are? I am really unsure of the required stats for a school like McGill...

McGill requires a B+ in each science course if you apply for science... Your other stats might outweigh this but it's not for sure. If you applied for arts you're in the door.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I applied to the faculty of science and my other choice was the faculty of arts and science.

I have always had A+ in science n math except this year...

Oh and I forgot to mention that I had surgery in the first semester and so I missed a lot of school. My guidance wrote a letter about it and sent it along with the mid year grades...would that really make a difference?

don't worry about it... if your previous grades are that high they are more inclined to look over that one class esp. with a letter explaining it all. you have pretty high stats, look over the thread from last year's acceptances.

good luck... i'm awaiting results from those two faculties too. it sucks to wait!

yea..the wait is killing me too...
btw, where did u find out the min. requirements for B.Sc online?

Hey guys,

My school doesn't use G.P.A.'s. The percentages of some of my final grades are as follows: 84, 85, 85, 87. Those classes are just miscelenious university level classes in history and other arts stuff. For applicants from the Canadian province of Ontario, McGill needs six University level classes including a University level English. What are my chances?

Can someone please give me an answer without being a total jerk?

i dont want to be a jerk but didnt i already post the ontario info in the other thread for you? spent like 5 min looking for them too -.-""

That's fine, and thank you.

What I was hoping for is someone's opinion of my situation based on some kind of experience.
