Chances, YES!

I will be a college senior this coming year and was wondering what my chances at some of these schools are. By biggest weakness is my gpa (w: 3 uw:2.8). However, that is because of a VERY bad freshmen year and I have shown continous improvement since then. Also I attend a rigorous private high school with a good reputation. My SATs were v: 680 m:670 w:670. For ECs I am a talented and performing jazz musician and have right over a dozen hours of community service (at least). Ive taken 2 AP courses so far and will take 3 more my senior year. My school does not rank so I can't give any information regarding that. The schools I was looking at were:

American University
Bard
Oberlin
Eugene Lang/ New School
University of North Texas (safety)
University of Texas- Austin

I dont know if this makes a difference or not but I will be applying as a political science major to all except New school and North Texas

Any help you can give me is appreciated.

Oberlin will be a reach. Are you instate for UT-Austin? Even if you are, it will still be a reach for you.

UT is a reach even in state because of the top 10% rule, oberlin is going to be quite a bit of a reach, and i dont know anything about the other schools

My chances at Bard and American were the two I was really wondering about
