<p>my school is weird in that it doesnt allow us to take AP courses until junior year...however, they do give us courses of similar difficulty, and thsoe are also weighted</p>
<p>the APs that i have taken are : US and physics; i got an A in both, but i got 3s on both as well</p>
<p>im currently taking AP gov, AP bio, AP calculus, and AP English...</p>
<p>the weighted courses i had from last year: honors precalc, honors euro lit, honors spanish 4...</p>
<p>so yeah, effectively, ive completed only 2 APs, but 5 of my courses last year wer weighted...ill be finishing 6 APs by the time i finsih high school...</p>
<p>although i do know that the rigor of ur schedule impacts the admissions process greatly, i dont think that the scores u got on the actual AP tests matter much at all regarding admissions..i think thsoe are only for credits for when u choose ur classes in colllege....correct me if im wrong though</p>

<p>What is your unweighted GPA? A 3.8 weighted is below average at Cornell, UPenn, and Chicago. These three are a pretty big stretch, but with killer essays at Chicago, you never know what could happen.</p>
<p>goldfish, did u mix up the UCSD and the UCI/UCD predictions...cus i was under the impression that SD is more competitive than irvine and davis...</p>
