Chances?

What do you think my chances are of getting in:

junior in HS now

Major: Computer Science bachelors (i hear the standards are higher for this)

GPA: 3.78 weighted
SAT: taking them this saturday, but i got 1740 on the PSAT so just use that

Top 10%, public school

Taking AP english and calculus next year, others are honors, and my school has a tech program and i've been in computer science the whole time

NO ECs, aside from freshman football and i did some work for my uncle's selectman campaign, which i heard sort of counts as something.

From Mass., got all advanced on MCAS so probably going to get that adams scholarship.

probably gonna do the early decision thing as well, just because umass amherst is super appealing.

WHITE (will they sue me for saying im a pacific islander?)

thanks for answers!!!

No, but you could be expelled for lying. I hope you’re joking! :)

To get the Adams, you have to have at least one proficient and one advanced, and be in the top 25% of scores for your town. It’s only worth $1714/year, so it isn’t worth getting too excited about.

PSAT doesn’t always correlate to SAT. Check back in when you get your test scores.

Applying Early Action (UMass doesn’t have early decision) gives you the best chances for scholarship money, although I think you will need better test scores than 1740.
