I feel bad because it seems half of the threads in this forum are 'chance' threads. Oh well.

I have a 3.2 unweighted GPA. 55/180 class rank, meaning I'm in the top one-third of my class.

I have an 1820 superscored SAT, with my highest scores being:

570 Math
680 Critical Reading
570 Writing

I have almost fifty hours of community service, however, my extracurriculars are rather nonexistent. I have held a job (two at one point, but that was during the summer) for the past two years, though.

I've taken all Honors classes (except, as a result of unfortunate miscommunication four years ago, math classes) for my four years at high school, and I'm taking an AP class and Advanced Physics class this year.

I've always been of the mindset that it would be silly to participate in something I don't love (sports, goofy school spirit things, clubs I don't really enjoy) just to appease colleges. Guess it was even more silly of me to forget I was eventually going to have to apply to colleges.

I applied to UMass Amherst a few days ago, with my 'Short Answer' being about my experience programming and designing Android applications. I would hope to be a Computer Science major.

Thanks guys. I've been experiencing this weird, mutated form of "Buyer's Remorse" in regards to my grades in high school ever since I submitted my Common App, haha.
