(Since our school is quite small, there aren't that many clubs).

Personally, I find my academic performance to be lacking, since there are no APs in Taiwan, but I hope that my grades and the intense curricula our school employs will make up a bit for that. I don't really know if my ECs are enough. Please let me know how I stack up. Thank you!

I need to stress something right now. AP MARKS ARE NOT ADMISSIONS TOOLS. It stands for advanced placement not admissions precedence. AP marks will not determine whether or not you receive an offer.

And frankly, I don’t see why you’re worried. Your academics are superb. An unweighted 4.0 GPA and a +2200 SAT makes you a competetive applicant pretty much anywhere. Also, Mcgill undergraduate admission is NOT hollistic. They don’t care whatsoever about your extracuriculars.

One more thing to note, I have heard from many people that Mcgill sets the bar lower for international students (mainly because they desperately need the international tuition revenue). If me, a Canadian with lower marks than you, can make it, it’s likely you will too.

Don’t place such a high value on AP.

Good luck.

Yes, for admission to McGill you should be fine. McGill does not look at extra-curricular for acceptance, only for scholarships. The lack of AP’s is just fine for McGill. Most Canadian schools have no AP’s.

Thanks for the advice!! I’m applying for 3-4 Canadian schools in my senior year =))
