<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>UMICH is my number 1 choice this year. i have a 33 act, however, i have a 3.6/5 gpa. i pulled my act together junior year getting a 4.4 and a 4.5. I do have a plethora of ec's. Although this summer I launched a business with 2 other people. It was a gaming website that raised revenues in the thousands. Although none of us took a single penny of profit, we donated everything to a multitude of charities, in fact we just turned into a non-profit organization recently. Our site has been growing and so has the money.</p>

<p>I plan to major in finance and/or econ, do I stand a change to get into Ross, or even get into the university?</p>

<p>Probably not, that GPA is really bad. Unless you can tell me what it is out of 4, unweighted, I’m going to prorate it and that puts you at a 2.88. Of course the 5 scale is probably with honors and it’s unlikely that you took all honors classes so you probably have something around a 3.3 or 3.4. That’s not going to be enough. If you’re IS and your GPA is high than what I’m guessing then you may have a chance at getting in with straight As this semester.</p>
