Hello. I am going to be a sophomore next year (currently a second semester freshman), and I am planning out what I should for the remainder of my years at high school. I am shooting for an Ivy league, but I would be satisfied with USC or UCBerkeley or UCLA.

For my whole freshman year, I took three honors courses (Bio, Geometry, and Spanish)... I'm also in the advanced chorus and am part of the school newspaper.
I am hoping to take APUSH, alg 2 trig honors, English honors and POSSIBLY chem honors sophomore year.

My grades for first semester add up to 3.86 weighted GPA and 3.73 unweighted... But, for the second semester, my grades are looking like a 3.78 weighted and a 3.625 unweighted... so, my cumulative gpa weighted is 3.82 and 3.6775 unweighted...

Extra curriculars:
tutoring first graders once every week
crew (for first semester)
piano (but quitting after second semester)
was an intern at a local newspaper for a semester
reporting at TIME magazine for kids and Scholastic News for kids

I plan to:
do the school musical sophomore year
civic leadership (which is basically just helping around my school community)
more volunteering (feeding homeless, animal shelters, and what not)
immersion trips

I also plan to get high SAT scores. Oh, and my race is Filipino (Asian).

So far, do you think I have a pretty good chance? Also, do you have any suggestions?
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!

P.S. My cousin got into Cal but she was sooo disappointed when she didn't get into Cornell... She is a straight-A student and this got me scared.
