You seem like you are most likely qualified enough, but you may want to start thinking about what angle you are going to take on your applications because there isn't really any one thing that stands out, but thats what the essays are for. Though, no one can say for certain who will and will not get in.

Thanks.

I really do love art, and used to take an advanced course.. I want to attach some of my pieces to the app (if Dartmouth allows that) so that they could see some of my work, which is in several different mediums (paint, pencil, pen (stippling), latch-hooking).

But I like learning more, and definitely don't want to pursue a career in art/design.. It's just a really great hobby.

As of right now, I'm thinking about writing about something really mundane for my essay.. Sunday morning breakfasts w/ my family. Everyone always writes about these spectacular experiences, but I believe it is the ordinary ones that most define us.. Well yeah, it would be along those lines.. I think attaching my artwork shows that it is something I really love and work hard at, and hopefully my essay will convey my writing talents and show both a lens through which I look at life and how important an open forum with my family is to me.
