Chances?

<p>I applied early since they gave me an application waiver but it's freaking me out since my SAT score is so low and Fordham looks after it so heavily. Their acceptance rate for people who apply early action has been reassuring me a bit but, it never hurts to have a second opinion! What do you think my chances may be of getting into Fordham? It's my top choice and I so so so badly want to attention their business school at rose hill!</p>

<p>-top 20% of my class
-1750 SAT (it's too low!)
-4.07 weighted GPA (low as well.. )
-10 AP classes in total, 1 sophomore, 4 junior, and 5 senior year. Besides that, I've taken all the pre-ap /advanced classes that my school has provided for the core classes
-Asian, dad has gone to college but doesn't have degrees, mom lives in Vietnam
-Key Club and French Club president
-Plenty of volunteer hours
-In environmental club, academic team, literary magazine, French club, and key club. Was in Deca, interact, Latin club, junior world's affairs council, and tennis previously (moved school and it isn't offered anymore)
-French Teacher, APUSH teacher, and Key Club advisor are writing my recommendations
-I think I have a pretty good, sob story for an essay.</p>

<p>Your SAT is low for Fordham (bottom 25%), but your GPA is pretty good, and depending on how you did on your AP exams, it seems like your academics are fairly solid. ECs look good for Fordham. If you have a good essay and good recs, I definitely think you have a good chance. Good luck!</p>
