Chances?

Im so nervous right now. I want to get in to Fordham, but I sent my SAT scores late and now im just bugging out right now. My first question is do you think they'll reject me because I sent my SAT scores a few days past the Jan. 15 deadline? And if they don't care about that, do you think I have a chance at getting into Fordham?

GPA: 3.43
M: 690 R: 660 W:650
M+R: 1350
SAT II US History: 740
SAT II World History: 770

I have very few ECs because I have a part-time job. :(

I think you have a very good chance of getting into Fordham, you're History SAT II scores are amazing! I'm not really sure if they'll accept your SAT scores or not. I don't think that your EC's will hurt you too much, seeing as you have a job.

To be specific, they were sent by Collegeboard on the 25th of January. 10 days past the regular deadline. :( I screwed up big time.

What's your reason for missing the deadline? Maybe if you have an understandable excuse they'll accept your scores.

It was a stupid reason. I was just really busy because the holiday season was rolling down and i've been working 28 hours every week for the past two months. I was tired and forgot all about sending the SAT scores in. It was only when I got a letter from Fordham about my missing SAT scores that I remembered about it. They said they had to have it by the 25th. I sent it on the 23rd, but it was processed by College Board on the 25th. I don't know if it got there on time. Do you think Fordham will accept my scores if I tell them about what happened?

EDIT: I just called them up about it and they said my application was complete and that they did receive my SAT scores. :D

That's great news- you have a VERY good chance of getting accepted. Good Luck!
