<p>Oh! One of the <em>world's</em> 26 Grandmasters in Taekwondo has blessed us with his prescence! </p>
<p>Seriously, you have to be 18 before you can test for 4th dan, and you MUST stay at that rank for at least four years. Becoming a Master is no casual undertaking, and as for becoming a Grandmaster--as I said, there are usually only about 20 or 30 in the world at any given time. </p>
<p>I suspect the OP is one of those charming teenage boys who signs up for a martial arts class or two, goes in all macho-tough guy with way too much agressiveness and tension, and then quits because he discovers that it's a little different from the Hollywood version.</p>
