Chances?

I’m a rising senior and after stalking the results thread for CPP this year I just wanted to see what everyone’s opinions are of my chances.

Intended Major: Agriculture

CSU GPA: It should be around 3.54 assuming everything goes right w finals and everything this month

ACT: 29 but I’m taking it again in June and am 90% certain I can crack a 30+ without much effort.

APs: AP European History (4), AP Chemistry (taking this Monday yikes!), AP English Language (taking in a week), AP US History, AP Environmental, and for senior year I have AP Statistics, AP English Literature, AP Biology, and Dual Enrollment Spanish 101 scheduled to take

I know that CPP’s admissions are formulaic- although still somehow seemingly a crapshoot at times- but what’s your honest opinion of my chances? Of course I know their school average etc etc but I just want an actual person’s opinion and not just some Common Data report. thank you!

You look like a competitive applicant. Good Luck with admissions next year.

I think you are in good shape.

Good luck

@heckarad Your chances are pretty good but also depends on if your major is impacted so, you should check if it is. I am about to transfer to Cal Poly from Community college and my gpa was barely 3.0 so you shouldn’t be worried, Good Luck.

Impacted majors have a lot more stringent requirements. Otherwise, I think it just depends on how many applicants applied and if you were on the right side of how many they were willing to take that year.

Agriculture is not impacted.
