Senior currently in Texas
-Attend a college prep school that is highly regarded
-92.7 ish gpa which I believe is around a 3.6

Ec’s- Varsity golf, varsity/jv baseball, jv basketball, 2 leadership awards (golf and basketball), jv mvp baseball, Co-captain varsity golf, selected and went on a 2 week Globe Trek trip, young life, created ultimate frisbee club, model united nations, volunteer work, etc

Sat- 1830, (1260 on math+cr), Taking it one more time and hoping to get a better score on my math to get me into the 1300’s
Act- 27 (21 on the science D:) might take it one more time

Hoping to major in bioengineering or a science

It is always tricky to “chance” people. Clemson’s process is reported to be heavily stat based… transcript and scores. From several on line sources, it looks like your stats are well within the normal “accept” range. However, rumor has it standards can be a bit higher for out of state candidates and engineering majors. The link below has some engineering admit info.

If you don’t have your application in yet, I would suggest you send it as soon as you can. December 1 is the initial deadline, but from what I’ve seen it can be helpful to be on the early end of consideration by the admissions committee.

If you rank in the top 10% of your class you’re eligible for merit money with your current stats. 7500.00 I believe .
