What do you want to major in? Cause I just took a visited Purdue and talked to admissions, and found out that the difficutly of getting in varies based on your major. Exp: Engineering, and veterinary would be harder then say education. I believe they make you declare a major when you apply.

I want to major in Psychology.

no one has any clue?? anything???

I'd say Purdue is a match.

Alright I found out that my class rank is 110/264 placing me in the top 42%. How does this change things. Also, what are my chances at Indiana University Bloomington?

Ah indiana, now that's what im talking about lol. When I talked to admissions they said that instate they generally want you to be in top 50% where Out of state they want you to be in top 1/3. I myself, after talking to students come to believe that if your an out of state student that they would seem to favor you. You seem to have a good SAT score about 200 points over the average, good enough grades, and your out of state. I would say you have a really good shot. Now if you research IU some more and find that you like it, then take a tour and see what you think of it. If you like it then apply. I believe they have an accecptance rate of 81% So as I said before you have a really good shot, i myself would almost consider it a safety for you.

Just got my SAT scores. 660 Verbal 630 Math. Math went up 30, Verbal down 10. Taking the highest scores I have a 1300.
