I have no idea if I can get into Colgate because my GPA and standardized test scores are extremely different. I suffered from undiagnosed ADHD freshman and sophomore year, so my GPA is a lot lower than it could have been.
Freshman Year: 89
Sophomore Year: 82
Junior Year: 97
Senior Year(first quarter): 101.1
I wrote my essay on the effect that ADHD had on my GPA, so hopefully that will help. I did well on the SAT and ACT as well. I received a 1440 (730 math and 710 English) on my SAT and a 35 (35 writing, 35 math, 36 reading, and 33 science) on my ACT. I have over 100 hours of community service and have a few extracurricular activities that I included on my application.

Will Colgate take into account the fact that my GPA is low because of having ADHD?

I would definitely think yes. You’re also far more than just a number and a person, and a school like Colgate really cares about the people as a whole that they admit, not just their intelligence. I would not be distressed if I were you, I think you still have a good shot!!
