Unc charlotte, in state, pre nursing but could be changed
@amaris2019 I looked up their 2017-2018 common data set. UNC Charlotte does not consider essays, recommendations, or interviews. They do consider as very important: rigor of secondary record, academic GPA, and standardized test scores. Their listed 25th and 75th percentile SAT scores are:
R/W 560 630
Math 550 630
Their average GPA is listed as 4.1, but they don’t have an average UW GPA listed.

Given this, I would consider UNC-C as a reach. They do consider your state of residency, so that is in your favor for general admission. However, getting into their School of Nursing is another matter entirely. They state on their website that Nursing is among their top competitive majors, and that qualified Freshman will have GPA and test scores that fall in the upper ends of their admission score ranges. I’m not sure if you would qualify for path #3 or not, but they do list a phone number and contact name.

I don’t have a background to advise you about Nursing. You may want to check out the Nursing Major Forum on this site:

You might also find some generally helpful information in this thread:
A safety school is one to which you are guaranteed admision, can afford, and would be happy to attend. Generally speaking, a safety school would be one for which your stats are above the 75th percentile. You can find the Common Data Set for any college by searching: common data set specific college name
The admissions data will be in section C. It’s really important to have at least one safety on your final list. In what year are you of high school?
