<p>You must have thought about UMass. It would probably be a better fit in a lot of ways. Latin is a good school but a rigorous college like BU might put a lot more pressure on your grades.</p>

<p>the average SAT for SMG was like 1290 this year....... your not far off.. however your gpa is well below the average.. but.. your school does seem more difficult.... id say you should apply.. but your gpa might hold you back... good luck... oh yeah and yes macro and micro are separate</p>

<p>Thanks for the replies. I have considered Umass and am applying there as well, though I prefer BU over it. My gpa... is terrible, but i'm almost certainly raising after this year; the problem now is by how much.</p>

<p>Your stats seem good except, yeah, I think you really have to work on getting your GPA up.</p>
