Varsity XC Track and Winter Track- 4 years, captain (hopefully i can run at udel)
math italian hs VP, italian hs officer, national hs, math team, positive edge
100+ hours volunteering at nursing home

<p>You have a chance at the honors program but it's just a chance, not something to count on. Your standardized scores aren't amazing although I know students in the honors program with similar scores(me included). I am going to go against what most posters feel and say that I don't think that being in the honors program is that big of a deal. I take most of my classes outside of the honors program because that's what my major requires and I don't see a big difference between the honors kids and the regular students. The professors aren't any more dedicated... the courses aren't any smaller. Once you get above the 200 level, it seems like most classes(except some science) are around 20-30 students anyways. Also... you can apply to the honors program as an upperclass student if things don't work out the first time around.</p>
