Honors chances

k so I know these chances things are probably annoying but i cant really predict this myself!
can anyone guess my chances for the honors college?

f, newton MA (right outside boston)
my school is very competitive, it is ranked 4th in massachusetts including private schools, and had the most national merit scholarship semi-finalists for public schools in New England

GPA weighted: 4.2ish uw-umm lets not talk about it.. haha
sat: 1980
sat II: history 660, literature 620
AP/honors: soph: history, english
junior: AP history- 5 on exam, honors english and latin (no AP offered to juniors)
this year: AP Government, AP Literature, Honors Latin (No AP offered)

EC's: Captain of indoor track- one of the top teams in the state, individually i'm not great, top 5 or 6 in the league though and improving.
3 years indoor track, 4 years outdoor track, Cross-Country team manager 2 years (team was 6th in the nation this year)
town intramural basketball- #1 team 2 out of 3 years, assistant coach for younger teams, referee assistant coordinator for whole league
Prozdor Hebrew High School, student 3 years, teaching assistant this year
School Newspaper- sports editor, paper placed 6th at national scholastic press association's annual conference

my essays should be good writing is one of my strengths, i wrote about being a captain because of my passion for sportsmanship not because of my ability as a runner (my co captains have all placed nationally in their respective events, i have never even been ranked in the state), and for my honors essay my interest in Latin and why I like it

all feedback is helpful and ill happily do the same for anyone else, thanks!

Your stats certainly are impressive with the exception of Your SAT's being on the lower end for the Honors program. You should definitely get accepted at UD! As i just suggested in the other thread, go to the Honors Progarm at UD website, and you'll find the class profile of last year's accepted students which will give you a better idea of your chances for the Honors Program. Good luck! My son is a freshman in the Honors program and loves UD!

Here is the direct link to that info: http://honors.udel.edu/reporttoschools/reporttoschoolsaug08.pdf

Your chances are good IMO. My S had similar academics and EC's and was accepted to the honors program. He also had great rec's. Good luck!!

honors dorm rooms were ridiculously bad lol

that's true about the dorm rooms, but the kids don't seem to mind.
