Well I'm not URM (indian) and I cant do ED because I already did ED for another college. Wake is my number 2 choice...but more like my number 1 cuz I HIGHLY doubt I will get in my 1st choice (I applied knowing that).

So yea I will have to get cracking on those essays. Is it okay to send more than 1 rec?

Yes, son and other 3 students I mentioned all go there. As far as recs, I believe son sent in 3 recs also--one science teacher, one english teacher and one or two from Wake alumni (really don't know if that helps at all, but it made him feel better).

I spent in four recs. Common Application required three of them. English teacher, Accounting Teacher, Counselor and my sister sent in a recommendation.

Do I have any chance for a scholarship?

You say you are minority and instate so that makes your chances for certain scholarships somewhat higher. There are few large scholarships and they are very difficult to attain. With your grades and SATs it would be quite unlikely. You might have a chance for some of the smaller and more regional scholarships. Wake has a lot of scholarships for students from certain counties and regions in North Carolina. I'd look into some of those. The scholarship applications are due pretty soon though.

Yeah, previously they suggested taking the SAT II: Writing test, but with the new SAT format it is not necessary. I doubt SAT II's are something that will make or break you.
