Really excellent recommendations...a world-famous physisist/nun who taught HIMPT and AP Calc, my principle who has a PhD from Harvard and teaches my Bioethics Class, and my English III teachers who is a great writer and absolutely loves me. All talk about my passion to think philosophically and to understand concepts, not just memorize them. Also described as one of my school's "finest young men". I loved that part.

My common app essay is a personal reflection on why I chose psychology/philosophy...about a friend who I tried to help but ended up in rehab, and how I want to reconcile myself by helping others. My other essays are very solid.

My aunt and uncle both graduated from BU.

I have toured BU, Bard, and Tufts. I heard it helps.

Filled out recruitment forms for Rugby at Bard and had my Tufts interviewer mention that I wanted to do Crew in his reflection. I wrote about my desire to do both in the Additional Information section of my other applications...forgot to on my early ones.

So what do you think?

Tufts (ED)...Reach
Bard (EA)...Match/Reach
Boston U...Match/Reach (Safety, if applying to GS)
Northeastern...Match
Clark University...Match/Safety
Wheaton College (MA)...Safety
UMASS Amherst...Safety

How hard is the UMASS honors college to get into?

Not particularly.

BTW, I dont think Tufts cares about interest. Someone correct me if wrong.
You have a good shot at BU. Tufts is a pretty large reach, but crazier things have happened.

BUMP!

Is Bard too much of a reach? I really hope I get in there!

Tufts University ED - DEFER / WAITLIST
