deadline is coming soon... just get your app out and see what turns out plus i think it's hard to tell 100% but anyways try and hope you can get in!!!

hahha aiite

-sigh- iono..i find my GPA will be the thing that gives me the big boot

bump 10 char!

Bump Last Try

I am a Jr. and somewhat in the same boat. I plan on to apply to Cornell ED this year but not sure Yet. Anyway, I am working on my SATs but my GPA really.. sigh . I know how it feels without worrying too much about SATs but worrying too much with GPA.

I attended an Int'l school back during Frosh. year. The school was #1 in the country, hence, had a pretty competitive atmosphere. And now that I came here 2 yrs ago, I landed on a competitive school. Wondering why the hell I am having such a hard time (these days too) I decided to use the internet to find public school rankings. Not so long ago, I found out last week that my school was 1 of the 21 Public Elites of 2006 picked by Newsweek (I think Newsweek does this every year or something)

LOL, I got out-of-track for a bit. Anyway, I do have a not-so-good GPA too. I think I have like a 3.7W!

But yeah, many CCers on this thread have said good things. If you can get some good essays written, meaningful ecs, and nice recommendations, I think those might help a bunch. Since Cornell looks at the "Whole Package," I don't think you should worry much. Good luck!

Thanks I really appreciate it ! hahah but i know realistically my GPA hinders me significantly, so i just applied holding this with a grain of salt. Im not expecting much, so once i get rejected, i can only fall so far.
