A good day to all. I was just wondering if I could get into the following colleges with my academic profile.

State [Unweighted] Cumulative GPA: 3.8444
Academic Core GPA: 4.25
Weighted Cumul. GPA: 4.7667
Class Ranking: 3 out of 308 [I will get to number 1 by the end of my Junior year]
Test Scores: I have not yet taken the SAT nor the ACT, but I am sure my sat scores will range from 1900-200, and my SAT will be about 28-30.

Standford University

University of California, Berkeley

Cornell University

Duke University

University of Pennsylvania

University of Miami

Universty of Florida

I haven’t taken the SAT’s yet, but I am doubtful about how well I would do. :(

My AP’s:

Psychology
Biology
English
Calculus AB
American History
Environmental Science

And I got into Harvard.. lol.. Apparently typing skills aren't a necessity. It's interesting looking back... hmm.. Only ended up applying to UF and UPenn from that list. Got into both.

Actually, I wasn't, lol. I am black, but if she's going to assume that I had a hook, I would have appreciated it if she had included all of them.

I ended up with a 2150 and SAT II scores were in the 700s.

Well, its more likely that URM is the most common hook, than the fact that she is ignorant. That's a fact the statistics support. There are more URMs than legacies or D1, recruited athletes.

That is besides the point. I don't care if more URMs are admitted than legacies, recruited athletes, etc. The fact that she failed to include them as options indicates ignorance. Anyway, I am not here to argue. I am going to Harvard, while her friends with "superior" stats aren't. :D

Underrepresented minority. Basically blacks hispanics american indians (probably some other groups too but you get the idea) get an advantage in college admissions.
