<p>I have a passion for music. I play the viola, and my teacher has urged me to apply to a music school, but i only see music as an emotional outlet, and it is fun. I have been accepted Allstates twice now (a big deal in my school), Districts twice, the MIT Philharmonic Summer Orchestra, Harvard Summer Orchestra, Youth Reperatoryu orchestra at New England Conservatory(NEC), Youth Symphony (NEC), and the highest level orchestra Youth Philharmoinic (NEC)(THEY HAVE CD’s and our conductor is famous!!!)),baroque chamber (NEC), String Chamber(NEC). i ahve taken private lessons for 7 years with the same teacher. i plan to continue music and incorporate into my life in college.</p>
<p>My extracurriculars: I have volunteered for over 700 hours total, some number close to 800. I have volunteered at the muesum of science for 4 years now (since summer of 7th grade), internshiped every summer at the museum of science for 2 years now, voluntered at the local hospital, logged in 200 playing hours playign viola at my church for mass sunday morning, Latin club, the Literary magazine at my school, held a job at the museum of science my sophomore year, part of the Saving Darfur Comitee at my school (can join by invitation from lead teacher only based on leadership qulatilies),</p>
<p>i was named student of the quarter for community service, accepted into tri M national music soceity,</p>
<p>I took a mock SAT test at kaplan and recieved a 620 on Reading Comprehension, 760 on math, and 660 on writing.</p>
<p>wut are my chances of getting into the three colleges above, and does anyone have any suggestions about colleges for me, or comments about me as a person? thank you very much</p>
