Thank you for looking, because I certainly would not have. I'm trying to decide what classes to take for my senior year, and I'm not sure if I need to try hard or not. I'm not going to slack off too much, but a little break from the usual stress would be good. I go to a public school with around 500 per class. Most of the kids are looking for the best grades in the easiest classes. While class rank has not been calculated yet, it is not weighted at all. My friend who is currently a senior was ranked around 200 with an average around 87, while he took all AP and Honors classes. I'm hoping colleges will care that I took hard classes, and didn't only look to get the best grades. I have been in the hardest classes so far with the exception of Social Studies (Honors, not AP). Here are my stats:
GPA: 93 (Unweighted, of course)
SAT: CR:650 M:700 W:670 (I just looked over a review book a few days before, so I might take it again if anyone thinks it is necessary)
SAT II: 720 Bio, Chem and Math II in June
AP: AB Comp Sci:4, English Language in May
EC: Cross Country 4 years, Track (9-10, currently injured), Musical 10-12, School Newpaper 10-12 Copyeditor, Gay-Straight Alliance 9-12, Last Chance for Animals 9-11 (currently not in existence, admin is trying to shut us down)

I was thinking about having a free block and taking Regents Physics (average level) and Journalism and Shakespeare (instead of AP Lit). Do you think this would be alright? Is there anything else I should do to ensure acceptance? I plan on majoring in Computer Science, and RPI was too expensive. Thanks in advance for all of the help!!
