-Miscellaneous Information & Questions-
*I took Geometry between Freshman and Sophomore year and earned an A
*Am I a first generation college student? My father did not attend college and my other only recently graduated (2 years ago)
* My school is on a 7 point grading scale and is fairly competitive

I am thinking of applying to UNC-CH, Elon, College of William & Mary, Wellesley, Brown, Davidson, Duke and UNC-A.

What are my chances for these schools? Also, even more importantly, are there any other schools I should be looking at? I'm interested in journalism and psychology.

Thanks for your help.

UNC-CH: Maybe/ Unlikely
Elon: Maybe
College of William & Mary: Unlikely
Wellesley: REJECT
Brown: REJECT
Davidson: REJECT
Duke: REJECT
UNC-A: Likely

Davidson and Wellesley are actually more like reaches than don't even think about its.

But only because you're a first generation college student.

Question: Is your GPA 3.5 out of 7 there are is the 3.5 out of 4/5?

And the OP is actually in the middle 50s for Davidson.

It's 3.1 unweighted; seems kinda low to me.

3.1/4 and 3.5/6...i think

But is that out of 7 or out of 5?
